Tyler joined the Brock and Associates team in November 2010 as a junior associate planner. His studies included Finance and Information Systems at the University of Utah; graduating on the Dean’s List in May 2010. While in school, Tyler enjoyed working with a small business. His efforts and expertise helped that small business grow to over one million in annual sales revenue.

Tyler is service oriented. Dedicating two years of selfless service in Ecuador S.A as a missionary is a key highlight in his life. Tyler remains ready to be called upon to help others when needed. At present, he is a registered volunteer for the state of Utah, specializing in HAZMAT and Decontamination services.

His reasons for joining the firm include: work with a company that shares and promotes high standards and moral values, provide a service that is meaningful and long-lasting to families and generations, and to work in a field that requires continual learning and mastery. Tyler’s personal mission statement is to “earnestly help others plan for and achieve their goals, and always strive for excellence in every aspect of my personal and professional life”. Tyler’s joys in life are his wife, the former Allysa Lund, and their son Tavin James.
